Mild-mannered Managing Director
by day … Skaifey wannabe on the
weekend!
While Duncan’s start in
Motorsport may have come a
little later in life, and
probably won’t end up in an F1
drive, he’s certainly been
making up for lost time,
actively racing in a range of
events in the last 6 years.
His debut race, in the Eastern
Creek round of the MoPro Cup in
2001, was certainly memorable,
finishing with a rollover at
Turn 9 during the final race.
Since then, Duncan has managed
to keep all 4 wheels mostly on
the track, turning in a number
of strong results including
setting the fastest lap while
competing in the team that
placed 2nd in the 2002 Wakefield
5000 Enduro.
Duncan likes to keep his
interest in Motorsport broad,
competing in a range of events
and disciplines including NSW
Hillclimbs, Supersprints and
Motorkhanas and the NSW Dutton
Rally.
He also somehow managed to
convince wife Kel to ride
shotgun with him in Targa
Tasmania 2007. Unfortunately
the outing ended on day 4 due to
mechanical issues. Once sorted,
Duncan will focus on competing
in the NSW Combined Touring Car
Championship.
